What factions can Vassalize anybody?
And is there a way to make them immune to your type of corruption?

I love the concept of Chaos being able to Vassalize anybody after you beat them and can lead them south from the chaos wastes to invade the rest of the world alongside your armies. Though half the time their growth is stunted due to all the debuffs from hostile corruption and they are constantly fighting rebellions and such if they aren't another chaos faction. Is there a way/mod to fix this?

Are there other factions who can do this? Like say high elves being able to dominate and vassalize some lizardmen or dark elves and make them help fight? Or Vampires making thralls out of the mortal factions? (Even if it doesn't make lore sense, I don't much care)

As for keeping your vassals healthy, influence-wise, give them lands/gold and make them huge. Huge enough to fight off any minor chaos corruption on their own.

When it comes to actual Slaanesh influence/seduction demolish all of your influence building cults in your vassals lands.

Factions that can vassal anybody:
I'm a bit rusty but for sure the monogod chaos factions.
WoC obviously and they add the chaos corruption to their vassals.
I think Daemons of Chaos can do it for all, but they need to actually diplomacy it, can't force subdue all (might be same for monogod chaos).
Factions that are the same race as you are usually able to be vassalized.

Yeah, I think it's mostly just chaos being able to vassal anyone. Otherwise it's like restricted to thematic stuff like Vampires vs the empire, elves vs elves etc.

back in warhammer 1 you could vassalize anyone as any race, that was neat.

I don't remember that I would have done it a lot more if I did. Or may be it was they kept breaking away from me so I never bothered doing it again.

Maybe there is a mod to vassalize anyone on the workshop.

Now I just wish that the regular undivided chaos factions gave a buff to their vassalized factions like the monogod ones do. Giving fury/poison/shields/phys res to every single unit of your vassals is a great big buff, but undivided gets nothing except some buffs to their leader (kholek) or a minor faction buff (Archaon)

high elves enjoy being dominated so i doubt it for them

I have a clear memory of playing Dwarfs in the first game and the Wood Elves offered to be my vassal when Chaos showed up. IDK maybe they changed it but that's what my brain remembers.

I think aşş of them can, some just do it better than others

So, I looked a bit into this and checked every factions base diplomacy options and checked if they are able to vassalize through diplomacy:

Beastman can't do any diplomacy.
Bretonia can't vassalize.
Don't have the DLC for Chaos Dwarfes.
Chaos Demons can vassalize.
Cark Elves can't.
Dwarfs cannot.
Empire cannot.
Cathay cannot.
Greenskinz can´'t.
High Elves cannot.
Khorne can vassalize.
Kislev cannot.
Lizardmen cannot. Checked for Nakai, which starts with a vassalized faction, but can't vassalize other factions.
Don't have the DLC for Norsca.
Nurgle can vassalize.
Ogres cannot.
Skaven cannot.
Slaanesh can vassalize, also has another campaign ability to vassalize some factions from specific races, such as high elves.
Tomb Kings can vassalize.
Tzeentch can vassalize. Also can confederate, which wasn't possible with the other Single-Chaos-God factions (at least I think it wasn't possible).
Vampire Coast cannot.
Vampire Counts can vassalize.
Chaos Warriors can vassalize.
Wood Elves cannot.

I did this all in TW:WH3, first commander of every faction, on immortal empires. Also, as said before, I just checked their base diplomacy options. I can't promise anything regarding other campaign abilitys or vassalization through war.

woah, necromancy.

... was this post made before Champions of Chaos released? Notably, the four WoC lords from that (and possibly the rest of WoC got it too) make their vassals favor their own corruption.
N'Kari does not, and I hate that they didn't give it to him like they did Azazel. Makes a big part of his campaign mechanics awful.

Yes, necromancy, tread with caution and bring a Witch Hunter.
CoC was August 2022, OP was February 2023.

No vanilla faction changes their vassals' favored corruption.
CoC vassals spread 2 points per vassal of the CoC's corruption.
CoC and Slaanesh vassals are immune to Chaos Corruption Attrition and Chaos Wastes Attrition.
