Squigs

Short little gripe:
Skarsnik should reduce upkeep on standard Squigs. The unit fits into very few armies as it is and it feels odd that a master Squig Herder is able to have reduced upkeep on Night Gobbo Squig Riders and not the standard Squigs themselves.

Squigs are just too unreliable.. I feel like they were there because GS (at the time) needed something desperate for anti-infantry options. They're a waste of space better filled by something else. I probably wouldn't be too hard on Squigs if they didn't have rampage.

Why though? Squigs are already dirt cheap for what they provide.
Skarsnik focuses on the Squig Hoppers(the ridden ones). For his army specifically, there is very little incentive to use the standard Squig Herds.

Squigs chew through Dwarfs when embedded in goblins.
There's no reason to use Squigs when his Squig Hoppers are the same tier, same building and are far cheaper.
If standard Squigs were also discounted (as the rest of his goblin-related roster is), I think they would see a lot more play.
