Did everyone just get used to the blurriness?
Just player my first battle and I could barely finish it due to the eye strain. It is so unbearably blurry with FXAA or TAA, but it looks even worse when I turn them off. I’m playing at 1080p Ultra with resolution scaling at 100%.

The most effective way I have found to mitigate this is to use DSR or DLDSR if possible.

Dynamic Super Resolution brings back pretty much all the detail but at a fair performance cost. Sharpening can help but it really pales in comparison to what DSR can do.

The downside of DSR is of course performance but perhaps at 1080p you have some to spare to get that visual fidelity up a notch.

I got semi used to it (i also play at 1080p), but i would also mentioned that "everyone" doesn't have the issue.

The AA in the game looks horrible on lower resolutions but supposedly it looks much better on higher resolutions.

That’s unacceptable, most people still play at 1080p or 1440p.

You can fix the blurriness in the settings. A quick search of the forums will find it.

i cant remember what it was as i made the changes immediately.

You fix it using something like Reshade to apply sharpness. Thats what I had to do playing on 1080p with all settings on Ultra or High. It's just waaaaay to blurry for whatever reason.

You should also try squinting

The forums all say to change the AA, and resolution scaling. It didn’t work for me.

I’m at work so I can’t try it right now, but did you use something like this? https://youtu.be/VSrY-yjzIbM

I think the OP might need to see a optician and get his eye sight checked. What he describes feels like his eyes aren't 20/20.

Sorry, I meant the NVidia software, not Reshade, but I'm sure you can accomplish the same thing using Reshade.

This is what I ended up doing thanks to a friendly forum user named Ming. I had to enable the sharpness on a per-game setting:

Aaah. I remember once following (naively) a online recipe for making my RAM function better. Then having my game rudely interrupted by the cooling unit exploding.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I think this may be slightly more simple.
