AI don't do the quests, they automatically validate them the moment they receive them. So no, it won't work. The only thing in vanilla that could make it work is hoping that Drycha gets defeated in AR so she's dead for a few turns and cannot level up.
If the lords would reliably get out of their settlements during turn 7 it might be possible to defeat them in manual battle and let them escape to get two battles out of each army, but they only seem to hang around in their capital.
