Anyone else think Azazel looks a bit meh?

He...doesn't look like a pink Daniel, and his redesign is a drastic improvement over his ancient model, so...no.

He looks better than his old model, but that's not saying much. Personally I really don't like him and probably won't play him.

Not really a fan of his model (which is what he is based off of), but he looks somewhat decent in the trailer.

His old model is much worse, but the redesign is a bit too much of a cookie cutter demon. He looks more like a generic lord than a LL.

I think he looks an alright 6/10. I like the cloak and the snake tails, but the body overall kinda feels like CA was struggling to balance translating his indescribable beauty that's an illusion vs his actual horrific true form. It works for what it is, but I personally think I would have preferred if CA choose to lean into either side of his character more than try to strike a middle ground.

Of course modders can be more creative. They're not limited to make him look like the character Azazel.

*shrugs* A lot of Deamon Princes look same'ish (most of them tend to be larger humanoids with wings, a tail, claws and horns).

I mean sure they can look like pretty much anything, but few actually do.

Well since this gives me a chance give my opinion on Azazel's design I might a well go for it. I don't really know much about Azazel (I actually hadn't heard of him until a couple months ago when people on the forum were mentioning him) and I don't really care that much for Slaanesh, but I do like Azazel's design here. I surprisingly liked more than I thought I would He looks monstrous but his face looks a little more human and, in keeping with Slaanesh's theme, distinguished and regal in general. Also I wasn't expecting his twin snakes tail.

I figure he likely appears somewhat like that to people he is using his Slaaneshy allure on (its even said that he is impossibly beautiful, that said i don't think its ever specified WHO found him impossibly beautiful, might be beauty as seen by a Slaanesh cultist).

But judging by his old miniature and concept art i'd argue that his combat (real?) form wouldn't be nice looking so the current model fits.

The point is it isn't actually real and is just a conversion and it fooled a bunch of people on reddit who thought it was Azazel's "new AoS model".
