Otherwise, Grom/Skarsnik, Ghorst, and Boris all have excellent t1 unit efficiency and just point you straight into going as wide as possible mostly only ever investing in t1 econ buildings and t1 units.
only they can build an empire and paint the map the color of dead
conquest is gone, there is just a defenseless race for destruction left in the game so go do that
Objective wise that is.
Also Skarbrand if you just want to conquer/destroy everything
Edit: Mind you, I've stopped getting clan contracts but I'm yet to figure out whether it's a bug, or it's due to having confederated 3/4 other major clans or because Orion took Skavenblight.
There's a lot to argue that Greenskins are indeed a superb map painter.
For one, their roster... a fair number of options, and top-tier units like Black Orks will thrash almost anything they face.
Secondly, the economy... spam those treasure chests in every settlement, encamp in enemy lands to both replenish and raid at the same time, and use the Waagh! mechanic to pump up stacks right before an offensive.
Third, they can confederate other neighboring Greenskins in an instant if they take out the enemy's LL in battle. This can lead to early snowballing more than most factions, as it can add 3-4 settlements in just the first few turns depending who you start as and if you get lucky enough to fight an enemy Greenskin LL immediately.
But Skaven is my other top choice. Lots of unit options, can use food to bring capitols to Tier 5 right away, reasonably useful tech tree, etc.
I like Skaven, but only certain ones, but I heard Tretch isn't bad this time around.... So I'll give him a whirl again. I beat Tretch campaign in WH2 but it felt so bland, though thankfully I had the DLC for variety sake.
Personally i would say Nakai is pretty easily best LL for painting the map right now. I have said it before and i will say it again Nakai straight up makes Archaon, Kholek and Taurox look trash. Not in a straight up fight 1v1 fight obviously but in everthing else.
What makes you say that? Does Nakai get bonuses that make him better?
but quite some factions are strong... and any can do domination. pick your poison.
VC are still the strongest and probably the only race able to paint whole map in under 100 turns. Ghorst is obviously the strongest lord because he starts with 2 doomstacks at turn 1. But others have their own strengths(except Isabella).
Bretonnia, gobbos(currently bugged so I don't recommend playing them), Cathay and Oxyotl are other factions to consider. Bretonnia and gobbos are stronger, but Cathay and Oxyotl are more suitable for low skill players.
Chaos is probably good, never really played them. But what's the point of playing inferior melee faction if you may play VC?
His late game economy can still support quite a lot of armies.
in the end the outpost system lets u recruit way more units and get access to much stuff, all the elite tier things u wouldn't have normally from any faction.
there's not a single faction that u cannot paint the map with, its just a matter of time. pick the one u like, as simple
