My entire army disappeared..

Playing empire, took over the orc settlement north in Middenheim, sat my army inside to replenish, hit end turn, and when the next turn started, my entire army just disappeared. no combat, no notification of some strange event, the buggy ass game just ate the army.

no, they were garrisoned and fully healed, I had a positive income and no armies were around me.

Karl franz was the lord, I am not sure. I saw the army was gone and instantly quit the game.

You could...load the automatic end-turn game save and see if you could recreate what happened?

I had a lord disappear on me once but it was after I won a battle and razed the settlement. It ended up transporting my army a few provinces away for some reason. Only had it happen one time though. Maybe it just sent franz on a trip but he was still there.

I did, the next turn the army was still there. I have no idea what triggers this except perhaps its when a mission for a legendary lord appears, and the camera zooms to that area of the mission. this apparently removes armies and if you click to skip the little cutscene, it deletes the armies

I skip those all the time and have yet to have an army disappear. Really annoying having hte camera taken away from where i put it.. Anyway i'd suggest you verify the game file integrity and check for mod conflicts if it keeps doing that.

I just had a bug where an army in a settlement "disappeared" too. It didn't really disappeared though, for some reason the fog of war activated, made it impossible to see anything in that region. I only could select the army thru the notifications and then the fog of war disappeared and everything was normal again
