Drag some units into a new position
The game is telling me to select a unit and right click and drag on the terain to order them into precise positions.

So I select three units right click and drag I see some green dots appear and they reposition.

BUT THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CAMPAIGN DOES NOT MOVE ON.

WHAT THE hell am I supposed to do.

I don't understand?

You are talking about battles right? Where you can position your regiments as so? If I am following you correctly, what do you mean by the campaign does not move on? You mean the game crashes after the battle? Or when you try to position the regiment?

I try to reposition the units and they move in the green square but I am unable to start the battle or do anything.

Sorry it sounds like a bizarre bug that I do not know how to fix.

So you're in the deployment phase? Shouldn't there be a huge "Star Battle" button at the top of the screen?

you must be mistaking the command, as in campaign, you don't need to drag units to any position.

Are you trying to move an army from one place to another?

I am stuck on the first few seconds objective shown here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuAg6wr7O-k

I should also note that no matter what I do I cannot bget my army to stretch out like it happens in the video

dude you are moving them like a huge disorganised mob, they are of course going to string out like that.

Also, click the X on the advisory panel to the top left, it won't let you progress until it knows you have read the advisory pop up and then closed it.

This is not me in the video, I cannot even get the x to appear.

I cannot stretch out a unit like they show in the video even though I can see the green dots that I assume should be how my unit would reappear after releasing the right mouse button.

you'll have to show me, if you can record it? Because this bug is so out of field I don't know what to make of it.

Honestly I have given up and am in the process of refunding the game. If it can't make a simple and functional tutorial then what hope does it have of being any good.
SomeGuy1 Oct 29, 2022 @ 10:19am
so, OP is in the tutorial and it isn't registering the step as "completed" to move on to the next.

You said you "can't get it like in the video", I assume that means the video you posted is what you're trying to emulate rather than what you're actually doing? Unfortunately, without more precise information about what is going on on your screen, we are going to have a really hard time helping you.

I guess my question would be how do you stretch out a unit like the video did in the first minute. I am selecting a unit with the left mouse button and then hold down the right mouse button and dragging it out so a bunch of green dots appear in a stretched out form, but when I release the right mouse button it just repositions the unit without changing its shape or placing the unit where the green dots were.
