the main thing spamming zombies with a single mortis engine is a disgusting tactic that takes zero effort apart from your time to manual battle everything and you can have stacks like this for days since VC economy is very strong nowadays even early on.
making the argument that VC is too strong nowadays in campaign and even mp is a valid argument, honestly their base mechanics are bit overtuned and ruin parts of their gameplay.
Raise dead alone makes all recruitment building irrelevant making empire management irrelevant. The dead rise again atm does bring back way too many units back its at nearly 70% in high corruption
You only facing one stack ? I always have 10 - 14 stacks coming to my capital ( at Normal mode)

The way to overcome is buying heroes and spell casters , level them up and put 10 of them in your lord's doom stack , with other cavalry unit , it will wipe out 4-5 stacks of vampire counts each battle (you still have to manually control these battles)
In game 3 they get:
In game 3 they lose:
After all changes VC are by far the strongest faction of game 3.
If this is meant to be Vampires are OP when playing as them well I somewhat disagree but then again, every faction can be good when you are competent enough on what to do.
Not a bug. That's been in the game since warhammer 1. Vampire counts have always had "The dead rise again". They only increased the chance for it to happen.
But seriously. Zombies hit like wet noodles and the real damage, the mortis engine, is a huge target. Got arrows? Target it. The AI knows it and will target your squishy slow mortis engines.
Got big monsters? Right click the Mortis engines.
Got big spells that do tons of damage, even the ones without AP? Watch the zombies just burn to a crisp with their low hp and armour.
