I read on forums and reddit that turn time from mid to late game could be from 3 to 5 min?!

It's always really noticeable how promotional streamers avoid scrolling quickly and always edit out the turn times. I mean, I really wanted to see the end turn time once.

Not in my book.
On a Map that huge, 1 minute is absolutely acceptable given how much is going on. Even turn 100+ 2 minutes is okay, given that at this point you have 10+ armies and probably spend 15 Minutes on campaign stuff each turn alone, not counting any manual battles.

And seeing the current streams, even 1 minute might not be reached by any realistic measure, at least early on.

This post is only 8 days old and it already aged poorly. 16 second average turn time loading. :/

Just stopwatched Legends TK stream on turn 13 only, 47 seconds. He did pause for a few seconds though and didn't have the camera settings to not show enemy movements (and the movements are on slow even - how can anyone play like this???), further slowing down the turn.

Still, slow honestly but it's 220+ factions to process in the beginning

We can for sure, expect faster end turns in the future . I hope CA will do similar as for WH2.

Hasn't Legend noted he doesn't have the beefiest PC as well? Another tuber clocked an opening turn at around 16 seconds. Though as someone astutely noticed here, none so far have shown an FPS counter, which would be helpful.

Turn times see fine on Turin's stream. I watched an hour of his stream, and he states that his is a pc from 2016 that hasn't been updated since. So I expect it to run fine. FPS on the campaign map I don't know about. Turin seems to be playing in 1080p so hard to make a comparision to my 1440p. I will just wait to play first hand though. No sense watching a bunch of streams for something that is only a bit over a week away.

Troll is troll. Turn times on turn one with all the factions have ranged from like 17 to 26 seconds.
