Belakor is the strongest LL overall. If you mean 1v1 then Malus.

Straight without any skills/abilities?

Buffed with spells?

Flat out, lore wise it should be Skarbrand, but i didn't play him so far so i have no idea how strong he is ingame.

Lorewise Grimgork beat the dark fluff out of Archaon in a duell, so he is also one of the mightiest fighters in the world.

Gotrek killed a Blood demon 1:1 if i remember correct

It depends. Sounds like you mean campaign, though, so some interesting ones:

Queek is, IIRC, surprisingly good at 1v1'ing enemy lords and heroes. Wulfrik is also in this category I think, where they slaughter LLs and heroes 1v1 but can be mobbed easily.

The base-game Nurgle LL in WH3 has enormous amounts of HP and can endure ridiculous amounts of tanking.

Unless they changed him, the Manny of game 1 and game 2 had Lore of Death + Lore of Vampires, which makes him quite powerful already, let alone being good in combat.

Skarbrand was amazing at one time but nerfed.

Brass Bull is still IIRC pretty awesome taking out mobs of enemy inf in melee, and Grimgor is similar.

Best caster gets dicey... some casters have skills that buff spells, while others have good spells but are also strong in melee.

Yea with all the dragon buffs my money would be on Imrik. He won in a lot of battle tests done in WH2 when fully buffed up.

Tyrion won a lot of 1v1 MP test duels so he's probably still up there if we're strictly talking 2 lords duking it out.

From my personal experience with Skarbrand is that without the regeneration banner it can be more difficult than needed, seeing as though Skarbrand can have two sources of regeneration. Also if you go in there with a prepped army then your fine and it can be quite easy. I normally rock exalted bloodletters, Skullcrushers (Either anti Large or anti Infantry its really your flavor) And lastly I rock 4 bloodthirsters in my army. Realistically Skarbrand doesnt even really need his Legendary weapon since he's super juiced enough from what I've played... and I play him wayyy too much.

They removed his ability to have both full lore trees, but he still has spells from both lores.
