Who Has the Best Economy Right now?

What is the current top 3 Races with the best economies?

I know High Elves used to be a freaking corporation in WH2 but i heard they were nerfed super hard.

I just won a campaign with Tomb Kings but its too tricky to call them gold reliant.
So for a conventional gold/upkeep nation, which races would you guys say are top performers in your opinion/experiences?

Norsca. It might sound surprising considering how bad it was in WH2.

Now, Norscan tribes have the best ports, and combined with how many there are in their area and the raiding stance, their economy is insane.

Bretonnia hands down, every settlement can have a farm for 900 gold, if you play as Alberic you get an extra 50% from ports, and they don't get supply lines.

Havn't played any non-chaos races yet but I've had 0 money issues with Warriors of Chaos.

They've never had supply lines and still don't have them, it's part of their faction

Would not put Dark Elf in the same category as Norsca or Chaos. DE was nerfed.

But honestly supply lines just aren't really a thing anymore.

vampire coast's economy is only good in the super super late game when you own dozens of provinces and those provinces have ports. i wouldn't call them a top contender when their economy doesn't starting taking off until turn 100+

imo oxyotl has the best economy. simply because you can spam secret sanctums in your own territory, and reduce upkeep by 60% depending on how packed the provinces are. a dino army led by a saurus old blood can literally be free. so even though lizardmen economy itself isn't top tier, oxyotl can reduce the upkeep of his defensive armies by so much that new armies barely scratch his income. it also puts him in the best spot to deal with the end game crisis because defensive armies are so cheap.

But honestly supply lines just aren't really a thing anymore.

4% on multiple armies can still tick up a lot. Always fun having just confederated a faction and disbanding an army that says, it costs 300 (just lord) and you see your balance per turn go up by 1k.

I mean tomb kings technically have always had the "best" since their armies are free.

Besides that obvious one. Its pretty easy to be rolling in gold with Dawi since there are several gold mines near by. But come to think of it those are the only two I have played in IE...

DE and HE used to be amazing, but I believe all their tricks were gutted for IE.

Not a joke, Tomb Kings. At the end of my domination campaign i was making close to 100k gold a turn. And had like 10mil + in the bank because you dont really need much money as the Tomb Kings.
But it was nice that i could bribe every other faction into loving me. I just threw around money like candy to everyone.
I must have been +200 relation with every remaining faction when i won the game.
