Report a translation problem
Patching takes a lot of time, since it is constantly unpacking data/asset containers, pushing files into memory, then writing files unto disk ... can take forever. It also is not using the full available bandwidth for that reason. It's a Steam patch thing - especially with huge games.
You can see this, inside your Steam Client Download page - the bar that shows 'disk' activity vs 'network' activity.
I uninstalled the game and am downloading the complete thing (65GB compressed).
Probably much faster than patching, with a fast Internet connection.
I don't often get told I am right, so let's make a note of date and time on the calendar.
