Stuttering regardless of settings
Since day 1 of playing WH3, I've had stuttering that's made the game almost unplayable. I keep hoping it will be fixed with a patch, to no avail. I've tried multiple configurations of graphics settings, but I still get massive stuttering on the campaign map, battles, and even the menu screen. I'm not noticing FPS drops (benchmarks ~50 FPS on medium), but the game plays like stop-motion. Any tips/tricks? Is my rig just that bad?

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X
MB: ASUS TUF X570-PRO
GPU: GTX 1070 Ti
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 3600

Me too brother. It was playing just fine earlier and while in mid turn my screen went off and said no signal. Reset the computer and now when i start the game it has massive stuttering at the main screen.

Sounds like a graphics driver crash in your case. Normally a restart should fix that. Is there a driver update maybe?

I have a ryzen 1700 asus tuf board and an old as dirt r9 fury 4gb, 16gb of RAM.

Stutters non stop in the movies at the start and main menu. Almost a slide show. However to my surprise, the campaign and battles run just fine. So once I get past the menu mine is working.

Hope they can sort this stuff out quick because many were really wanting to play after waiting so long. I even started downloading it on my laptop with a better GPU just in case, but thought I was going to not be able to play and know the frustration.

Alright boys, did you find a solve to the no signal situation? It happened to me twice yesterday playing multiplayer IE. Randomly no signal to the monitors and a restart was needed.

Not a potato PC either
i5 12600K
RTX 2080TI
Z690-F
32gb DDR5 RAM

You've got Ryzen CPUs. Try assigning TWW3 to a single CCX.

Hmmm ok so it did it again mid game. Shut off said no display. When i go back into the game the main screen is stuttering (Where it shows the battlefield and flames) and when i goto options the graphics card says microsoft basic window driver 512 MB

Like its not registering my graphics card. I rolled back my drivers same issue.

Yet my card reads on other games.

This sounds a lot like when I had issues with another game. It was because I had the Razer Central ap up and every time I moved the mouse or pressed a button it would briefly freeze and often not so briefly. Turning off the unneeded audio management software did it for me each time. Hope this helps someone.

Wierd.

Yea its like right when I get to the battle loading screen my screen shuts off. And its like the game cant read my RX 5700 yet all the other games can. So I gotta reset and then it reads it again.

Maybe my GPU is going out? Only had it for 3 years, maybe its overheating?

Bwaah the 5800X only has 1 CCX anyway
But Ryzens aren't the problem, I've 0 stuttering on my 5900X
OP has some setup/windows/driver issue
