Bugged military access
So. Was gunna prepare to declare war on Carnalstare a while ago and I had a none aggression and military access with him, well. Broke the none aggression before breaking the military access and now its bugged. Can't break the military access, there's no option too. If i want to declare war on him, I have to break the treaty and take the reliability hit. which'll drop me too low. Is this a known thing?

I also had this issue playing as High Elves trying to declare war on Tiranoc. I just assumed I was missing something at the time and took the reliability hit.

have only had it happen once during a cathay roc campaign so its not a common bug but it does happen sometimes

Yeah I'll likely take the hit myself because he's got dark fortresses I want to start grabbing. Been a while since I expanded, because I've had too have more or less my entire military down the Broken Islands fighting HE from Ulthuan lol. (Its late game for me.) Swear it was like 30+ HE armies before I was done fighting in the broken islands.

Same issue while playing as Azazel.

Just take the reliability hit and move on, it'll be back to high in a couple of turns, doesn't really change anything, unless it is more impactful for certain factions more than others.

IIRC, when the button to end the military access was bugged, I just offered a third party/neutral faction that hates the faction you have military access pact with to end the access agreement with that first faction.

you more or less mean to piss off the afore mentioned faction by signing the new agreement to force the first one to end the agreement with the player?

You don't sign anything, you just offer another faction that you end the bugged agreement with that first faction. For free, if possible.

oooh I misunderstood what you meant my bad. I'll have to try that next time I play whatever campaign that was (been playing Three kingdoms rather then this) and see if that works to fix it thanks for that info!

Solved with a workaround!
You can access a diplomacy window with other faction and offer to break the military access
