2. Get the tech that gives 25 devotees per Gift.
3. Use hero actions to give gifts to Lords.
4. Win.
Use N'Kari to bait out all the High Elf archer ammo. If you click good enough, you can do it with minimum damage. Then use skirmishing throwing axemen horsemen to kill everything. Bring a few helstriders to counter cav.
You can also seduce a High Elf phoenix or eagle and use it to bait out the archer ammo. High Elf armies are very easy to beat once they waste their ammo.
You're correct that his units are meh until tier 4 or 5. But High Elf armies are even more meh once they're out of ammo.
Late game N'Kari armies are mass cultist armies. Another good composition is Chaos Warriors with Fiends of Slaanesh and 4 Waywatchers recruited from Sister vassal.
Slaanesh does not have throwing axe marauder, but javelin marauders.
Slaanesh units are some of the best, so good that they dominate multiplayer and in campaign, are absolute power houses.
The only caveat is that they require A LOT of micro, something the average player can't or won't do. They just throw units at the enemy and expect to win.
Nkari can confederate, but only other Slaneeshi factions.
Vassals are counted as military alliances and they factor into those provinces.
The only similarities start and end at them having no ranged units.
Look bro, I don't have a magic formula for you. You need to learn to micro your units. But I will give you some tips on what you should aim for.
Slaaneshi units have great speed and as such, you need to pick the enemy army apart. Have them chase several if your units in several directions at once and once a few are isolated, you pounce on them and you will destroy them between charges.
When you deal with lots of ranged units, use the forest if available. If not, you basically do the same, you use Nkari and some Heroes to bait and pull some units, then you flank from two sides with cavalry and you wreak havoc in their backline.
If you're doing sieges, don't fight it out. Just bait them on one side, then on the other side have some units in hiding and you can rush the main victory point with them. I have won against 3 armies in a siege battle, simply because I would rush with Nkari and capture the objectives and they were too slow to react, and I would use summons from cultist to delay them even further.
For their armies, I tend to favor cavalry with Seekers and Heartseekers on Nkari and use chariots in secondary armies. I also pick heroes that give the +4% Speed (own army) on Heroes. It makes them even faster.
Also, make heavy use of the Seduce mechanic and the ability to spawn devotee army. An extra army popping out of thin air, next to your Lord, with full movement range is incredibly broken.
