Does Orion still seasonally die?

Title. Was my biggest pet peeve with him in WH2, kinda want to try him again in WH3 IE but if that's still there... I dunno. So, does he?

I don't believe so, but he is definitely still the crappiest of the wood elf factions.

Because the Wild Hunt, compared to the faction bonuses of all the other WE factions, is bad because only on when RNG says it's time. And it's his main faction mechanic.

Meanwhile, the Sisters get the Forge, Drycha gets Treemen in T3 trees, and Durthu can confederate every WE faction (Orion and Sisters can't confed Drycha, Drycha can only confed Durthu).

he dont need any of those fancy mechanics because looking like mel gibson with antler really make it up for all of them

Since when? I confederated drycha as sisters in IE, haven't tried that yet in IE.

What you talking about? You can Confederate Drycha as Sisters - just bribe the ever living crap out of her, and be patient every turn with her Diplomacy bar. When I did my Sisters IE Campaign, the Orion Confederation quest was bugged. Wouldn't Confederate even after razing the settlements and completing the quest. Didn't stop me - I just bribed him until he Confederated as well. On Hard Mode*

Wasn't that a mod thing to begin with? I've never heard of that being a thing in vanilla.

Might be that it's been a mod, sometimes it's hard to tell what's modded and what is vanilla, especially since it's been a long while since I last played WH2. Anyway, he doesn't die when the Wild Hunt event starts, I think it might've been SFO or Radious or whatever 🤷‍♂️

orion dying is not vanilla, it is in various wood elves rework mods and is also included in sfo.
