Wtf did they do to Dwarfs..
I can't even beat an army of HE spearmen and archers with an end game Dwarf army.. their archers massacre my Dwarfs, my rune magic does absolutely nothing, I lose in CC to spearmen.. wtf is going on?!

Not as hard as they used to. Sisters of Averlorn got a nice buff against them when magic resistance was changed to spell resistance.

So true. Without an oathgold exploit I had no chances to run a legendary Belegar campain. I litteraly have about 6 blank lords, Gotrek+Felix and 3 sets of equipment (mostly focused on rune of spite usage) as a main resource and power of expansion and defence. Dwarf warriors unit is now actually less optimal then basic miners in terms of main army-building unit because it needs separate building and only thing they really get in comparison to miners is fcking bronze shield (btw ironbreakers have bronze shields too - fcking gobbo have silver shields, cmn).
So pissed off with what they did to 8 peaks - yeah, now its cheaper to build, but with freaking 3 slots on tier 3 its like growth landmark and money. I don't even have recruit buildings higher than tier 2 just because I have a single tier 3 settlement by 40tish turn and it is 8 Peaks with 3 buildslots :/ Even Black Crag with gold is better now.

Once you get 120 oathgold you can cheese it to infinite ammounts of oathgold and items.
Craft 4 of the weapons for 30 each
fuse two together, same for the other 2
now u have 2 green items, if they are different types, dismantle them in the forge for 60 each, theres your 120 back and u try again
when you get 2 the same type, like say 2 green talismans, fuse them and you'll get 1 blue item
this can then be dismantled for 130 oathgold = 10 profit
Once you get up 300 oathgold you can craft 10 weapons a time, guaranteeing you at least 1 blue item every cycle, usually more. Uptil then sometimes you have to keep forging and dismantling for no benefit if you dont get matching items.

Sure, if that's what u wanna do, or play a modded game. He said he couldn't do it without an oathgold exploit, so I told him how to use the ingame mechanics which the dwarfs have access to to. Bit much talking about cheat engines, lol. What you gonna say next, give players ID bans for savescumming?

Lol. You do basicly the same while lying to yourself "its not cheating, i swear!!!".
Just cheat. Saves you the ~10min to reroll items.
Yeah. It's a SP game. Just admit that you're an abuser and fire up a cheat engine.

Dwarfs are on the weaker side i guess.But they are still good enough to easily beat the Ai.

Yeah, I liked the challenge, but hated how it affected the playstyle of many factions. Not sure if the ranged/monster meta has changed at all, but melee infantry is definitely viable now, finally.
You are new to the game, right? Dwarfs always have a gyro to distract enemy archers but this move require some micro and you cant just chill in corner.
I mean in all fairness Dwarves are the best corner campers in the game though. You can wreck armies 4x your size easy peasy like that as long as they come to you (and they have to if they are the attacker).
I've found Dwarfs are still as solidly strong as they've always been. Against elves I usually make sure I have some flame/normal cannons to thin out their ranged units, shielded units, Bugmans rangers and maybe a slayer unit or two to take out pesky dragons. Profit.

If you know you're going to be fighting elves, it's also worth kitting out your characters with some Forge items that give missile resistance, especially the one that gives aoe missile resistance. Top that up with runesmith buffs and you can tank a lot of the damage.

Hammerers can hold out for an immense amount of time, even surrounded completely, they still stand their ground.
You surely mean Ironbreakers? My Hammerers lose models to a Clanrat summon lol.
Clanrats have 25\25 ma\md and 6 armour pierce wpd, this is the most broken unit in entire game i thinks cause you can just easily summon them everywhere
