Warriors of Chaos - Exalted Lord vs Ascension to Daemonhood
Hi - I believe I understand how to get Exalted Lords of Monogod factions (Levelling up Dilemma) Please correct me if I'm wrong

However I'm not clear on how as WoC ascend a Lord to Daemonhood - is it a levelling up dilemma? Or is it within the path to glory section? Does it have to be a certain Lord type? (Like a Khorne Lord for Valkia etc)

Any help is greatly appreciated

Level up a lord to level 25 i think and then you need to spend X amount of souls to make him a deamon prince. It's own separate menu when you click on a lord. Items/skill tree/something

It's the Path to Glory that dedicates them and gets them to daemonhood. Any type of lord can become a daemon of undivided while only a lord of khorne can turn into a khorne deemon prince for example. I'm not entirely sure if those dedications are exclusive to certain factions, but for the sorcerers (lords and heroes) their lore of magic matters. Chaos sorcerer lords of metal can be dedicated to tzeentch while lore of death can dedicate to nurgle. It's lore of shadows for slaanesh heroes.

The change to daemon prince becomes available at level 30 IIRC.

Dilemna or not depends of the faction you're playing. If you're playing a WoC faction, then it's the path of Glory that is used, and you need to spend souls to pay it. If you're playing a monogod faction or Daniel, then you don't have souls to spend, instead it's a dilemna simmilar to how exalted daemon lords can evolved into exalted greater daemon lords.

You can only change into the daemon prince of the god that the lord was dedicated to until now. So a lord of Slaanesh can only become a daemon prince of slaanesh, etc. By default it will remove half of your levels as well. Some factions have way to lower the cost, but not all of them.
