Vasal bug plagues all of the WoC lords atm tho.
That sounds pretty powerful in multiplayer campaigns lol, reminds me of vampire coves that also can't be destroyed even though they can spread vampiric corruption around and steal money.
i also sent a hero all the way down to antartica to put a portal down. so i now own the 4 dark fortresses that oxyotl owned lol. easy money.
as for the daemons and daemon princes. daemon princes are good, but regular chaos lords have a skill that gives your chaos warriors and chosen +10% physical resistance. and regular lords can already mount a chaos dragon at higher levels. so i don't see much point in spending 10k souls ascending them to daemonhood. better off spending 10k souls on spawning high tier daemons or buffs.
but tbh people here are saying his access to daemons is OP, but you don't unlock them for ages and even when you do unlock them you only get 1 high tier daemon every 4 turns. so in 20 turns you could have 5 keeper of secrets. big whoop. i use some regular daemonettes/bloodletters here and there. and i've been spawning in slaanesh warshrines. but that's about it. high tier daemons aren't worth the souls and the mortal roster already kicks ass.
Considering how long their cooldown is, 15 turns default, 10 when you research a technology, I personally assumed they are suppose to be permanent. Plus you have to either fight a Tzeench demon faction, or spend 2k souls to get a charge for opening new rifts.
you can also get rid of a cove by razing your own city. but that's probably a bad idea. regardless, with how corruption mechanics work now a faction would only need ~4+ untainted or other corruption to stop 1 cove. so unless you can stack 2 corruption ports in 1 province it's hard to do anything really annoying.
and if it is fixed, in the early game you fight a tzeentch army, then your capital is occupied by tzeentch, and finally you can chain sack the minor settlement to stack charges. if you stack up to 5 charges that'll last you until turn 40-60 easily when you'll have enough souls to sacrifice at will.
also, the cooldown for the portal resets anytime tzeentch ascends in "the great game" mechanic.
and yes they are permanent. turn 85 on my current campaign and none of my portals have disappeared.
But portals are insane. Permanent, no drawbacks like rifts in RoC, free to use so you can do the recruitment tour cheese, and spawnable ANYWHERE as long as you can see an army there. The ability to redeploy troops across the entire world is amazing with the sheer size of the map, and with the requirements for longer campaign victories you pretty much need to go everywhere at some point.
I have a feeling those are going to be nerfed eventually. I hate when they nerf the solo experience
How unlock Belakor? I finish main campaing. But he dosnt show up.
