Tzeentch Daemon Prince
Worst decision ever. Giant target, doesn't have access to pink fire of tzeentch. Gets chased down by empire general on gryphon all the time or shot by the overpowered Kislev that win against horrors in ranged.
Why don't horrors win? I don't understand.
I always end up with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in my battles, and I had such a beautiful army too.

Kislev feels overtuned, their units are good at everything, what am I doing wrong?
Am I using the wrong units? Why so many empire archers and crossbowmen?
Always ends up with these random units all over the battlefield.
My flamers get shot, or they friendly fire. If I put them in the back, friendly fire, if I put them front, they get shot dead. If I put them flank, the get cavalry charged.
Horrors don't seem to do anything so I might as well not use them at all.

Pink fire when I played Kairos melted entire infantry lines, but I am playing as Vilitch's faction and it feels severely nerfed.
I am so tired of the stupid hide and seek, I thought WH3 would improve it.
I'm spending 3 hours trying to cleanse Empire but always some Empire guy pops up where I am not, damned whack-a mole and my Norscan ally is useless at holding the territories I conquer.
I can't have an army for every province! I just want to maim kill burn and cleanse the lands.

What am I meant to do with Tzeentch besides the obvious "use magic!!!!!!!!!11111" which I was doing, see the kill count on the lord.

Daemon Prince and Greater Daemon changes are both huge downgrades to their lords. It's super lame and I have no idea how they came up with such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea. It's like if they made greatswords worse fighters than swordsmen but left the costs and requirements the same. It's idiotic.
from what i see, you have an okay army, first of barrier is op period... 2nd the units you have are good to handle infantry, and hold the line but in exchange youd be perfect targets for missile/arty units. Thats when you recruit cav, monstrous, or flying units.. also if youre having trouble spotting armies on the campaign map then recruit heroes to send em ahead of your armies as guide and make a decision based off of that. depending on the difficulty youre playing on AI will target your high valuable unit which then will effect your balance of power. pink horrors are really good, but they struggle against armored units or orges. Kislev is balanced in my opinion. for norscan allies its not worth relying on them especially having vassals it isnt worth it in my experience. another tip if enemy does go straight for your general have your flamers near your general as they are good for single entities but becareful tho on Very Hard difficulty AI will do everything in their power to target your valauble units. if you need more advice i sent you a friend request. one more thing infantry units is more viable than it was in WH2, i made my dark elves tier one units last all the way to turn 156 on very hard.

You could start by avoiding the 4 to 1 fights. Stick to 3 to 1s.

Its better to put a sorcerer hero in the army and have him on a disc and fly around blow stuff up, don't spend any points on the daemon prince on spells and build his blue/red/yellow lines instead.

I haven't had any problems in my Vilitch legendary/vh battles campaign, they can barely break through the barrier.

BTW pink fire kinda sucks.

Blue fire is your go to spell to blow up artillery, it can break an artillery piece in 1 cast and since the sorcerer is on a disc he barely gets targeted by missiles cuz they don't want people to cheese and waste their ammo.

Blow up artillery 1st, then its smooth sailing. Let the enemy come to you, send your lord and hero on key targets like their lord/hero/wizard, use the cav to charge missiles, sorcerer infernal gateway in the enemy blob.

I found that missile units for Tzeentch just suck balls, they have low range, low ammo, no defenses and always get focused and die.

I go with mostly infantry and some cav.

My typical setup.

1 Lord which eventually turns into a daemon prince
1 Exalted Hero.
1 Sorcerer Tzeentch
4 Marauder Spears -> Halberd Warriors -> Halberd Chosen
4 Knights -> Doom Knights
9 Marauders shield -> Warriors Shield -> Chosen Shield

Once fully upgraded I have taken 2-3 full stacks with this army, your daemon prince gets a skill that regens barrier to all units around him, pretty OP.
