In other words, you only need to buy it once to have it for all 3 games.
As for what it gives: it is a blood and gore DLC which adds blood and gore to hits and kills. It allows the base game to be rated "Teen" as opposed to "Mature". Only the blood DLC is rated "Mature" this way.
I'd say most of the blame for having blood as a DLC goes to the ESRB (though I'm sure SEGA isn't exactly upset at having to sell it as DLC for extra money).
Not
I'm talking about something else
In short - any sub with blood DLC (for TW and TW2) adds 3 DLC - for TW1, TW2, TW3
But blood dlc for tw3 adds 5 dlc - for tw1, tw2 and 3 for tw3
Now you understand what the point is? It adds 3 dlc for tw3 at once
Total War: WARHAMMER III - Blood for the Blood God III
Total War: WARHAMMER - Blood for the Blood God
Total War: WARHAMMER II - Blood for the Blood God II
1Total War: WARHAMMER III - Blood for the Blood God
Total War: WARHAMMER III - Blood for the Blood God II
Buy ANY Blood for the Blood God dlc once. TWW, TWW2, TWW3 it matters not. All three drench the ENTIRE game in blood exactly as has been explained to you above.
5 DLC:

vs
3 DLC:
https://steamdb.info/sub/79101/apps/
https://steamdb.info/sub/155228/apps/
Extra dlc:
Total War: WARHAMMER III - Blood for the Blood God
Total War: WARHAMMER III - Blood for the Blood God II
But I have never seen them wrong.
However, that's why I want to know what it is.
I myself have this package:
https://steamdb.info/sub/243040/apps/
If it wasn't for that, I would even buy Total War: WARHAMMER III - Blood for the Blood God III to check it out even though it's more expensive
This is DLC, not Total War: WARHAMMER - Blood for the Blood God or Total War: WARHAMMER II - Blood for the Blood God II (this is important)
I have bought the blood dlc for warhammer 1 and got all the subsequent DLCs for 2 and 3. As it should be. Not all that complicated.
As I said in my first post: I don't know and it also does not matter at all because all the dlc do the exact same thing.
The duplicates could be something to do with the process of how blood & gore carries over between games in the trilogy, or they could be promo copies (for example those sent to games journalists pre-release) that for some reason are being treated as separate entries. Or it's just a mistake in the listings.
As for the increase in price, it's most likely reflecting them moving to a new price structure for all DLC as their costs have increased. Sure it would be nice if prices stayed the same forever but it's really not realistic, especially with the current cost of living crisis and rapidly increasing costs of energy (as they've got to heat and light multiple buildings in the UK and Bulgaria, not even including all the electricity needed to run the computers and servers necessary for a large games developer like CA.)
Anyway, the really important bit is if you already own Blood for the Blood God for 1 or 2 on a platform (e.g. Steam,) you don't need to buy it again for 3 on that platform. You only ever need buy it the once on a platform for the whole trilogy. You aren't going to get anything extra by buying again, you're just wasting your own money, so I'd advise against it.
Hope that helps.
All the Best,
Welsh Dragon.
