Immortal Empire stability
Hi, is it just me or is the state in which the immortal empire has released, really deplorable? Loading into the campaign or out of a battle (whenever I load into the campaign map) it takes around 30 min of loading and the performance in-game is pretty bad (plus some visual issue like the mouse cursor flickering back to the center of the screen) which is weird in some cases since the game runs well in the normal campaign.

Nope just you. 35 second load times, 60fps ultra 1440p on a 3070. Seems you are likely to be trolling though.

Most likely a you issue.

loading 30 minutes seems a bit extreme and you might need to take a look at your hardware if thats really the case
even with it installed on a hdd it takes less then a minute and a half to load in and out of battle for me

Performance is pretty good for me on an oldish but trimmed down/optimised gaming rig.

If you are having long load times its most likely a limit of the hard drive you have total war warhammer 3 loaded on.

My friend had significant load time until he moved it to the faster hard drive which vastly improved his loading times.

This happened in the previous games as well... I hate to say it but if your hard drive doesn't go brrr.. you are in for sadness.

I mean it could be a hardware specific issue, but my pc is high end. (the cpu is a AMD ryzen 5 3600x 6-corem I have 16GB of RAM and my GPU is a AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT) but yeah, everytime I try to load into the campaign map, the game comes close to crashing and becomes unresponsive many times

you know that even if a game works well on one rig, it can still have bad performance on another set up (with similar specs) it's called hardware specific issues

IE is more stable than most patches for TWWH2 were on release.

I'm playing on a i5 6th gen and gtx1060 in medium setting and the loading times are around 30sec. But i'm playing on an SSD which can be a huge factor for loading stuffs. If not for the SSD/HDD maybe it's an optimization issue at the higher end settings.

and yes my drivers are up to date, updated them yesterday to make sure

Sorry man, you have to use SSD for fast loading time
Jack Greedy Aug 26, 2022 @ 8:40am
get a fast ssd drive , for better loading times.

I have had zero issues with gameplay stability in Immortal Empires. No FPS drops, no random crazy save stuff, nothing. I'd suggest reinstalling the game if you continue to have issues, as loading saves tends to be a hard drive thing, and if that's being a problem then you might need a new HD or SSD. You could also Verify the game files, sometimes updates get scrambled and cause all sorts of issues.

Ryzen 5600x - 16bgRAM - 3070Ti - Samsung SSD 980.. no prerformance problems at all.

Looks like we have similiar specs.. you didn't specify your SSD, maybe that's what the game doesn't like?

EDIT: Just read a comment about your Hard drive.

You definitely want an SSD for this game.
