Immortal Empires Dwarf Campaign
I started a Dwarf Campaign. Some observations.

- Grudges are a little broken atm. The Grudge meter fills too fast, and it doesn't come down till the first four grudges are resolved. That is what happened on my play through.

- I was around turn 120, and suddenly I was at war with all other dwarf factions with no explanation as to why.

- In general, the campaign is a little too bare bones.

1.) Grudges are meant to be handled in a timely manner, especially starting grudges, as they start with greater severity and grow much faster as a result. If you can't, that's fine. Even MAXIMUM OVERGROOGE can be counteracted with tech and ancilliaries.

2.) Willing to bet you declared on someone allied with them or someone allied with them declared on you. Alliances need paid attention to.

3.) Welcome to Total War. IE is standard fare for campaigns in the series, if larger than most.

I believe from here and reddit, this is an issue with every race and campaigns. People are getting war declarations from races with NPA and trade agreements and even races half way across the map they havent met.

Given that basically nothing has changed with the AI's diplomacy decision weighting, the odds that it's related to this are practically nil. Moreover, what you've described is a feature. The AI has always had a chance to break or declare from NAP/trade status.
That’s odd OP, I managed to have agreements with all my dawi friends. We would even share a beer or two after a battle. Grudges don’t mess around tho I rather liked it, made them more satisfying once they were fulfilled . While the AI is more aggressive , I’m enjoying it, it is total war after all.

My thorgrim campaign was great fun, absolutely loved it!! Built alliances, helped my allies( when I could) and watched my lil dawi march out!!!

I’m curious tho, we’re you forced to break a treaty or did you dow on a major order faction?? Might explain the hate from the other dawi factions?? Also, are you using any mods??

Clearly something has for so many people to bring up the same issues with different campaigns on different difficulties

I have over a 1000 hours in Warhammer II. Can you stop being snooty?

Something was off. It should be really easy to see what happened in the events list. It wasn't.

There’s more than enough people on here and Reddit with the same issue even within 10 turns so it’s possible it’s a bug. Well I think it’s LIKELY it’s a bug.

I have never ever had a faction declare on me with agreements and a positive diplomacy rating. They will cancel those first

No mods. I didn't declare war on anyone, and there was no message that an ally was going to war. It may have been that the dwarf end game scenario popped? I don't know.

I should be able to tell what happened just by the events list.

Yeah agreed.

OP, I`d report and restart and see if you can build relations from turn 1. Seen a few minor bugs/missing features from my dawi and skaven runs which ill report tomorrow or Friday(tho I suspect some are rebalancing things, looking at you Knowledgeable). Best of luck in your games!!!

The dwarves and I waged war for over 50 turns of Karak Kahdrin. When at last in the war of the Grove and Axe. The Dwarves perished in a great onslaught from the power of the Forest. The War Grove of woe had her revenge on the bearded fat axemen for none were spared.

I found not a lot different in immortal empires until the vampire end game scenario triggered. Cities traded back and this built up the grudges quickly. At one point I was -387.

Never seen a dwarf then Turn 120 - dwarf invasion, turn 130 at least 1/3 or the map owned by dwarves. Turn 135 one of my 4 dark forts under siege by 8 full stack tier 1 dwarf armies with another 13 or so approaching from the south. manage to maneuver 3 tier 1 armies to defend. Killed 6 of these armies with 3 of mine (on hard) so I thought YAY i am doin good. Sadly another 20 (counted) full stack tier 1 armies instantly generated with the 10+ already there and bulldozed my arse, all my local settlements, vassals, pets and in-laws 3 turns later. I went from owning or vassal about a third of the map to owning an island in 17 turns from invasion.

Dwarf armies all units minimum 150 armor, 100+ leadership and a partridge on a pair tree to boot. The armies just moved in a wave wiping out everything except the empire that consolidated the center right map around turn 25 becoming number 1, same with the elves. Really weird playthough and absolutely nothing could be done against 30 doomstacks. Dark elves were wiped out by a massive consolidated elven force around turn 50. So in summary the only 2 factions the dwarves didn't fight, owned the 2/3 of the map already who funnily enough were allied to the dwarves.

It was fun trying to beat them but imo the difficulty curve here is 270 degrees from 0. Tried going back 5 turns and making more armies etc. but couldn't even slow them down realistically.
