Just had the Dwarf endgame scenario happen, thought it wasn't too bad at first. I was wrong. Playing Very Hard campaign with Normal battle difficulty. I'm playing Cathay and conquered and confederated the entire eastern part of the map. If dwarf factions were wiped out, two full pretty good stacks spawn outside of their Karak. That is what happened to me. I redirected some units and wiped them easily.
5 turns later, I'm looking at the central part of the map where 4-5 dwarf factions are and they have ballooned outward with what is seemingly far faster doom stack generation, which is already pretty ridiculous on Very Hard. Karak Kadrin has become a major power in that many turns and I'm just now seeing the edge of the advance of one or two stacks coming through the Orcs I'm at war with. So now I'm frantically trying to mop up Chaos Warriors in the north of the bastion so I'm not fighting on two fronts. But yeah, not a walk in the park.
What endgame scenario did you get and what was your difficulty at?
