Negative traits not being removed?
Playing as Cathay and got two neg traits, had my LL in a max upgraded city with the Sky Lantern Lookout buildings ( the one that has 50% chance of removing negative trait). Been there 6 turns so far. Seriously wasting a lot of expansion by having to keep my main army there for so long let alone wasting a building on that slot. And I need to delete that building as I need the gateways to spawn in for the the next invasion.
Is it broken or am I just stupidly unlucky?

Not all negative traits are removable, those buildings only effect chaos realm traits :stress:

What traits are you trying to remove? The staying in a major settlement is for removing the ones you get from the Chaos realms (in case you didn't win the soul).
I have a little Icon next to that Lord that says 'Chaos Realm Traits'. And they are not going away.

Ok, that should be getting removed then. Just bad luck.

They changed it so that winning the survival battle would automatically remove the traits. I don't think they removed the previous method of using the province capitol and or anti-skaven building.

Have not heard anyone else reporting this so guessing you just had a bad run of RNG.

Is this a new play through after the 1.1 patch or left over from before hand?

New game just today after game fully up to date.

Seems like very very bad luck. All previous games and normally one neg trait gets removed per turn in a city. 6 turns seems excessive. They are not so bad I can;t keep playing, just annoying to have there. I'll keep on marching and see how it goes.

It could just be bad RNG. Pre-patch I had a Lord sat for 12 turns to remove 1 trait, and then later in the campaign I had 3 traits removed in a total of 3 turns. Did you beat the final battle of the realm? If so, definitely a bug. If not then you could just be very unlucky in this playthrough.

Ok, Well I still have ones from Tzeentch and just picked up 3 more from Nurgle realm. But at least I'm very close to beating that realm

That's the problem with any RNG system, you can flip a coin and get 20 tails in a row.

Yeah, it should not be that bad though, like after 3 turns sitting in the same maxed out city it should change to a 75% chance of getting rid of the crap. After 6 turns it should be 100%
Or maybe at the very least as you sit there you get a reduction in the negative trait by about 10% per turn or something.
But anyway I'm playing around it, it's not too bad at all. Just annoying.

The odds don't change, it is the same odds every turn. The chance of it not happening for X number of turns in a row may be low but every turn the odds of a trait being removed are the same.

If you take any courses in stats they should cover this early on and it's one of the reasons why casinos make so much money.

It takes a while. Something like 5-7 turns for me. Or so it feels
