The effects of mass on cavalry probably need some balance tweaks especially on high tier infantry. But this is to be expected.
Pendulum definitely needs to be nerfed. The whip of slaanesh is fine- it is a formation disruptor but damage is not out of line.
If you consider TW a straight RTS, then you probably find the infantry changes to be a problem. I do not because I consider it a war game with RTS tendencies.
When braced, infantry will get knocked back only against monster and with a huge reduced power.
That's actually enlightening, thanks a lot now I understand a couple more things.
I have no clue how coding works whatsoever, but as a general idea, taking the non-final version of game 2 to develop game 3 and finish game 2 before releasing game 3 releases a natural frustration, taking aside everything can be considered bad in game 3. They added more salt to their own plate by overmarketing the game which they did not do for game 2 as I recall (and that was so much better in my opinion now that we I can compare).
Worry lingering is their own statement "you know coding is hard and messy! so we do not know whether we'll be able to fix anything" which could be funny if only.

Ironically, that actually nerfs cav, since once those infantrymen get up, your cavalry models are now stuck in the middle of their formation, being surrounded, having their MD drastically reduced, and having no way to get out or win.
It may be that, because I use a lot of heavy cav in support, the infantry delays are not as glaring, and I don't expect my cav to simply steamroll enemies so don't often send them off on their own
