I haven’t played kislev yet but isn’t it an anti large unit

Sounds about right cause I wouldn't send that thing to any serious large target.

If you use it for fighting Large single entity units like it's intended for it rips them apart! Used right it's a great unit.

Not really. It's good as an assist for dedicated Anti-Large infantry. It's no duellant at all because it hasn't juggernaut.

You can perfectly kill single entity small caster with it, however

It certainly does feel a little underwhelming for its tier.

It's to weak, useless in my opinioon.

On difficult up to normal including, it's probably the first and fastest option you can have as dedicated Anti-Large before bear-riders. Also ok to get small casters, and flanking.

Starting from Hard, balance gets messed up because of straight AI boosts in stats.

It is super fast and inflicts frostbite. It is used to slow cavalry charges or stop units from retreating. While really not that good at surviving, it still can deal decent damage when atacking engaged units from flanks.
Fendelphi Feb 26, 2022 @ 1:54am
It is a fast, highly mobile unit, with a fairly low upkeep cost.
This makes it easy for it to flank and it wont get stuck in the same way as your cavalry does and it makes it much harder to target with things like Artillery and ranged units.
The Frostbite effect makes it a good assist for other mobile units to keep the enemy from escaping.

I think you are most likely using the poor thing just for the wrong targets.. :-)

I haven't used them that much yet, but i get the same vibe i get from Skaven assassin heroes.

Basically a mobile high damage glass cannon that you want to use to "ambush" the target (preferable with support or with several of the kitties). You don't want it to ever exchange blows, use it to flank units occupied with something else (like noming on your infantry).

Its a T3 unit, CA can't even move it to lvl 2 because advanced stuff starts at lvl3+, I finding the unit is really just support for frostbite(snare) and sniping weak, low health SEM's, high micro, great in rush based armies which Kislev has a problem with getting out, due to the way the buildings and recruitment are structured, there's a bias towards generally missile orientated armies which makes kislev play very defensive.

You can summon it with your mages if you do not want to hire it.
Though it can be a good piece for mobile cavalry heavy armies, Winged lancers/Gryphon legion are nasty anti-infantry, while bear riders wreck just about anything. War sleds and Little Grom are nice mobile shooting chariots. Support them with Snow leopards. Might be the best combo against anything Tzeentch.

Its more of a support Anti-large imo. Send it in to support the Spear Kossars/Ice Guard and it'll work out in your favour nicely. Does do a few other things as mentioned above too though.

I tried to send mine out to kill a wounded Vamp Count (about 1/5th health) and my kitty jsut got spanked, so defo not something to throw at actual combatants haha
