This, SSD and plenty of RAM solve these loading issues.
And the game takes 45-50 seconds to load the campaign map from the main menu. This feels like a long time, but maybe it is the norm?
Just did the test. On my PC with SSD, it's 45 seconds from "continue campaign" (in the launcher @desk) to in-game.
Get an SSD
it takes me 2-3 minutes, sometimes 5 if im in a rush.
I have it installed on a hdd, and i have 16gb ram
Its a big game, so yes its gonna take a few seconds to load.
Based on personal experience and the experience of my friend group, if you're measuring load times in seconds, you're fine. If you're starting to wait a couple minutes to load into the campaign and battles, unfortunately ssd or m.2 appears to be the only solution (assuming you've already got the 16gb of RAM).
I've tried messing with the graphic settings, ive messed with the scripts, ive messed with some mods. Nothing works. It literally just comes down to how quickly you're pc can read from the game files, which is almost entirely dependent on your storage device.
Mine is about the same here. Counting in my head.
Nice if it were faster.
