Getting Exalted Great Unclean One in coop?

Read somewhere that when you get a lord to 15 or so you get an event to transform your lord into an exalted great unclean one. If this is the way to get this lord type it doesnt seem to work in coop. Has anyone else had this issue?

Just had this happen to me, got a nurgle herald lord to 18 and still no event to turn him. playing coop with friend, nurgle/tzeentch coop

its odd to me that there are so few people talking / asking about this. Makes it hard to tell if its an issue that doesnt affect everyone or if no one thought to question the fact that you cant access these lords.

When it fired for me is when the army was in one of my settlements and at level 15. Had that happen for both Khrone and Sleenesh. I was playing chaos faction.
