Whats the point of flying units?
Flying units can't capture cap zones in minor sieges, so whats the point of them? Just a wasted slot in a siege battle?

Yep. A unit that can completely ignore terrain, barricades and walls, can't be attacked unless it wants to be and can zip over units to hit them in the rear. Can't think of any reason you'd want to take them into a siege battle.

They can melee a scary ranged unit, but that's about it. Some unit types, like cav especially, just aren't useful in a siege attack.

Generally all units that can fly have a land option now. You can tell them to fly behind the enemy lines and land to cap a point.

they can also attack towers which infantry can not.

flying units are amazing for ranged units and even artillery. That is pretty much the point of flying units.

and this ofc.

tbh if you really want flying units, just have 1 or 2 of them.

Use for meleeing weak ranged units you otherwise might have some trouble reaching. Or fleeing units

they stop archers from wiping out your monsters.

Also, they can attack towers for factions without archers or limited ammo.

Pretty sure that does not work. if they are able to fly they can not capture even if they land.
lol.. you have to use them to destroy ranged enemy units.

Usually flying unit are weak so wait enemies ranged unit to focus your first line, when they are shooting rush them with flying units and gg.

This correct actually, they cannot cap points. However they can still land behind enemy lines or a choke point and attack from the rear :)
