Borderless windowed.

Just add the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing, for the love of god I do not believe for a second that it is such a hard thing to implement. just do it I am so tired of your game having a 1 in 3 chances of crashing to desktop whenever I change videos on youtube, and that goes for ALL total war games

Tick that on and it's borderless windowed, just like in WH1 and WH2.

and before you say anything.. yes that is borderless windowed even if it just says window.

done it doesn't work this is not borderless windowed, the game is literally unable to properly adjust to my screen with this option

you got no idea how many different terms are used for borderless fullscreen in games

Borderless mode, maximized window, fullscreen window, and sometimes just windowed ect, ect, ect.

Btw borderless window mode is just windowed.. but without the border (hence the name borderless), and if you tick that it does not have a border.. AKA it's borderless mode.

You could've skipped that because restarting fixes the problem by itself.

Try it, it literally is borderless windowed, not "windowed mode"...

Windows key + R, type %appdata%. Go to Creative Assembly\Warhammer3\scripts\preferences.script

There, change line 2-6 to this. This is for 1440p so change to what ever your resolution is.

x_res 2560; # x_res <int32>, Fixed window width #
y_res 1440; # y_res <int32>, Fixed window height #
x_pos 0; # x_pos <int32>, Window position #
y_pos 0; # y_pos <int32>, Window position #

I struggled with the top of the game being cut off in window mode and tried a bunch of different methodes and this did it for me.

Guys, please stop arguing that windowed mode with it's corners hidden over the edge of your screen is the same as borderless, it isn't and CA has no excuse for not just including a borderless option like almost ANY other game in the galaxy after 2018 and maybe even before that. Just because you can scuff the game into "borderless mode" isn't really an excuse, and that's what we've all done here

it is implemented. Having a border or not means nothing.. It still a window. Runs the same.

When I try Window Mode it doesn't let me choose my desired resolutions (1920x or something like that) and instead forces 13XX or something similar or lower. I'm not really tech savvy and the stuff with the preference code edit is weird for me, I don't know what to put and don't even know what 1440p is supposed to mean...^^
