Looks like a unicorn vomited a rainbow of hot garbage all over my monitor. And don’t get me started on the red on red on red on red UI — BARF.
Core fans are upset that these influencers received copies of the game in advance and spoiled it, when they themselves had to wait until release.

i don't see how this is CA's fault when they want to promote their game, but some influencers behave like ♥♥♥♥♥ and spoil the game for everyone?
Serious Trivia made some high quality content in Chinese specifically for the Chinese audience.
Got less than a thousand views.
Maybe if the Chinese gaming community consumed higher quality content, Sega would have supported it better.
Disagree entirely.
I like to see what the gameplay is as much as possible before purchase. As we can't get pre-release reviews anymore, I at least want to be able to see if I am wasting my money or not.
I think many people reach that point eventually. I got there maybe 6-7 years ago with steam. You see enough reviews doing things because of other games, companies, or reasons not to do with the product itself and you give up on them.
warhammer 2 looked worse than 1 but 3 has a much cleaner look and the terrain is so much more fun to look at. just turn down your gamma and brightness if you want a darker look, or wait for a mod. not every game can fit your demands so look for a workaround otherwise your complaint serves no purpose other than" I want to complain cause everyone else can"
I've noticed that Western audiences are more inclined to:
- Watch let's plays, even if it spoils content that they themselves havent played yet
- Watch movie summaries; learning the entirety of a movie plot in a 10min video without going to see it themselves.
- Learn of end game content, how to min-max, how to obtain all easter eggs and achievements without discovering how to do it themselves first.
As I've stated before, REAL gaming in China has only really been a thing since 2016. They are a very young (immature) audience that doesn't know about Western trends. Western audiences, for the majority, are understanding of how influencers (should) receive a product first, as it makes for good advertising. It's probably a new practice for the Chinese playerbase.
Also, to say the Chinese playerbase is review bombing, is a stupid thing to say.
There are just players, that happen to be Chinese, that are giving negative reviews.
Just as there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of Americans doing the same.
Chinese don't have access to the community side of Steam, so be careful not to create an echo chamber. It's awfully tempting to blame and point fingers at someone that cannot defend themselves; and when they cant defend themselves, we assume it is because they are guilty.
It is SEGA's fault not CA. CA has no influence or power in advertising/promoting in China. They do have community program and partnership in the west but any advertisement and promotion in China is handle solely by Sega and Sega fumbled it badly.
SEGA been handling out the early preview of WH3 to unrelated/irrevelant influencer/streamer such as Twitch Thot, Bath/Hot tub streamer, Pet channel, people who not remotely play a game at all or only play mobile games. Then those people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the game which anger the faithful WH3 Chinese fans. Heck, the part that anger them the most probably about those influencer mobile game people who ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on WH3 that it should be more mobile friendly and allows microtransaction to buy auto-win or auto-play feature.
Review bombing is the only way for them to get their voice heard. Don't act like y'all white people never done crap like this. You would done the same if CA didn't handle early copy to LegendofTotalWar, Turin, Mandalore, and Cody Bonds but instead giving to someone like Fortnite kids, Minecraft channel, COD/FPS centric player or TikToker.
