If they are on steam, they would know they are not missing out.

The Mac version is made by Feral Interactive. Feral has been working on the Android/iOS port of Medieval 2. That released yesterday (4/7), so I'm hopeful that they'll at least have an announcement on Warhammer 3 next week. I suspect Feral's twitter site will have the announcement first.

I'm in the same boat. Pre-ordered and receiving the game later than the majority. Feels bad :(

Thats why i keep a Steam Windows install amongst my Linux machines, so if I want to play before devs port games then I can. They need to hurry up though getting impatient to play it on my good machine

Yes, but asking a customer to modify their property instead of delivering products on time is not good salesmanship

It's not really in CA's hands though. The timetable for Linux/Mac has always been dependent on Feral Interactive (the alternative, more likely, being no Mac/Linux release). I imaging the 1.1 patch delayed said release (as it did with blood and IE). Regardless, reach out to Feral Interactive about any possible timeline for release.

I agree, I'm not blaming either of the two firms. Its just that when I pre-order something, I would like to receive the product around the same time as my fellow customers. I'm just voicing my concerns about making macOS users wait for an additional 2 months

Didn't know Macs could even run 3rd party software.

Well today you learnt! iPhones are pretty restrictive in what you can download and run, but macs aren't

Switch to Windows then, or dualboot. Many if not most developers don't support Mac's OS, this isn't a new thing either. Always expect a game to either not support it, or for the Mac version to not be at release.

I know most developers don't. However if someone *is* supporting macOS, and allows macOS users to pre-order a particular title, I would expect to receive it around the same time window as windows users. A delay of 2 months is simply too much. If this was to be the case, then it should have been clarified during purchase time. Again, asking a customer to modify their machine just to play a game that should be supported on native configuration is bad salesmanship. Either make games for mac and hold to your commitments, or don't.
