How do I remove a Chaos Realm Trait?
I have a Lord that acquired the Bloody Betrayer Chaos Realm Trait while in the Chaos Realm. I garrisoned him in my Province Capital. However, the Chaos Realm Trait has not gone away. How do I get rid of the Chaos Realm Trait? Do I have to do something in addition to garrisoning in a Province Capital?

You have an increased chance to remove the trait if you build the building that helps you find skaven undercities in the main provincial capital or in one of the three main cities if you are kislev. If you are kislev the building is called "Night Patrol House" under defence building line. Its easy to find for other nations as the tool tip for the building should say something like "Chance of removing trait gained from visiting the realms of chaos: +50% (garrisoned lords)"

Depending on how high tiered your chaos trait is it can take several turns of successful trait removals before its fully gone.

It's a random chance of removing it. It may take a few turns.

No, just wait.

The most fun way ever! You sit and wait!

Once you have the right building in a province capital you have to wait a couple turns for it to be removed

It should be a few turns but as the system is currently RNG based you can get a bad run and not have it removed. Would recommend having a good save from when you exit in case you have issues.

50% chance can fail many times in a row..

1-2 turns before leaving - I am not entirely certain how the RNG seeding is working in this one, but events tend to play out the same if you load back to the same safe game twice.

I'm pretty sure if you have the defense building (I think it's generic title is "City Watch" or something) that gives the +50% it stacks with the +50% from a lvl 4/5 main settlement building. So if you have both it's guaranteed to be removed/reduced each turn.

So far I've never seen it fail to remove/reduce the trait if both are built.

I've experienced this too. On my last Kislev run, I put that skaven watch building in a capital and it removed a taint level every turn.

You've still got to sit them in the capital 3 turns to clear it, but it's better than relying on the RNG.

Anyway, this looks to be redundant after 1.1. if the taint clears after beating the last battle in the realm.
