It's from 8th edition Fantasy, what was that nonsense you were saying before about having played the game before?
it fits beautifully, hence why CA added it bud. :]
woop woop cant wait to see it man, u hype?
Most certainly not. It's a robotic mech from 40K.
So yes, it's from 8th Ed Fantasy, hence why it's in this game.
Lots of people loved its addition. Such is life.
Lol saw it played in dozens of games, was at games days and comps, and part of the community during that time, nobody ever seemed to mind or care. More people seemed to just enjoy it or not care than anything else.
People complained Thorgrim and Archaon and other characters were OP, Skaven didn't get an 8th Ed book, the Ogres were too ridiculous and other things but the Soul Grinder more or less just existed and people didn't care. I'm sure there were some but never really came up at any event.
None of your non-anything-evidence changes anything either, but we had different experiences of it back when it came out apparently. I just don't take you at your word since I was active at the time and heard nothing about it being controversial and you've proffered nothing to suggest it was.
Heard plenty of other complaints, Warhammer having one of the most vocally whiny consumer bases about every little thing and all, but that one never came up which you'd think it would have given how "controversial" it was, based on nothing.
Or more likely it was a storm in a teacup.
