You're welcome.
Pink Horrors are gleeful and capricious, pink are resentful, bitter and vindictive.
Brimstone Horror the lowest kind of Horror of Tzeentch is nothing more than savage little spites made of mite-sized living fire and pure malice.
So with 20 pinks you can split them into 40 blues, which then split into another 40 pairs of brimstone horrors making them rather difficult to get rid of quickly.
Ah, I see. Thank you. I'm learning about Warhammer lore as the TW:WH games come out.
Brimstone Horrors are an AoS thing (they did not appear in the 8th Edition book or supplements nor End Times material). So if they are included...it will be hilarious to see some of the flip flopping from some of the disgruntled posters on this forum when the topic is brought up.
The difference between them is basically pink horrors split into blue horrors when they die. Pink horrors are jovial, manic and excitable as they sling spells around the battlefield after they split...
...into 2 blue horrors are much more sullen and and malicious, reflecting their smaller stature. They tend to lack the same magical aptitude as when they were formed together as a pink horror.
Mechanically in tabletop it implied pink horrors could function as low level wizards who once split into blue horrors shifted roles into a more poor melee fodder role. Though in 8th edition blue horrors as models themselves were nixed on the table and restricted down to a rule using markers of a sort.
To more simply clarify, as I can be wordy and not always explain things well, pink horrors are stronger and "better"(but still terrible for melee combat) and also can also cast spells but blue horrors are numerous.
This explains it very well, thank you.
