Anyone have any stat builds?
Google leads me to dead links.

I plan on being a Rifle Crafter (for starters), so the best I can guess is I'd max Intelligence, Perception || Rifle, Dodge, Social and Armor. (It doesn't look like there's enough points for much more than 4 skills)

How do you get the "Down to a Science" achievement via grenades? You can't "use" them and merely throwing them at enemies does not increase your progress. The bio-boosters do work though.

Ya, the guide says "Dodge, Rifle, First Aid, Social and Group Tactics" (with +26~28 to various stats), but it doesn't give the reasoning behind them... especially since several skills scale poorly and unlock at lower stat tiers.

For example, it doesn't state the effective returns for maxing Dodge or Armour or a combinations of the two. It doesn't state why you'd need First Aid, Social or Group Tactics (I know Social lowers merchant costs, important for a crafter)

There's, like, no useful game math for theorycrafting at all...

I guess I'll do 6 Skills, 3 stats (All the builds I can find do 5 stats, 5 skills... but since most skills don't actually do anything and scaling "appears" linear it actually doesn't matter)

So, Dex/Int/Perception (3 stat) with First Aid, Social, Precision, Rifle, Power and Dodge. (6 skill)

I might even put points into Armour Use afterwards... 'cuz all my math says everything scales linearly so you can get away with using just enough points to grab the skills.


From the wiki:

"Each point increases your Resist Penetration. This Passive Effect has a max of 8.1% when Power is maxed for your level and can be pushed further with +Power items."

That actually IMPLIES that using less stats (to keep your max lower) is beneficial.

Not sure that having low stats to keep max skill values low works quite like you think it does. While I am not 100% positive about this I believe that when they say "maxed for your level" they mean that you have hit the skill cap when both stats that boost the skill cap are maxed for your current level.

here is the build I use for my PVP Rifle Crafter build

Charisma - 94
Dexirity - 98
Intelligence - 98
Perception - 98

Armor Use - 130
Dodge - 147
First Aid - 192
Precision - 196
Rifle - 196

Empathy - 171
Enhance - 174

this also leaves quite a few points (which i havent earned yet) for another skill, im probably going to pump into Social for the discount

This build gives max crafting ability of 196, and is a solid contender in pvp. Its not as good as a pure pvp build but is not bad
