Completed - HD Background Mod - Crossification

I was never pleased with the poorly AI upscaler they use (or the model for the AI itself) so I upscaled them using a better interpolated model.
This Background Mod should be 100% complete without any seam issues.

Sometimes it takes 5 minutes and sometimes it takes several days to "forge" the final Image.

oh my, if you only could make some backgrounds for FF8 and 9 to see how the games would looked like you decided to start to remake their backgrounds

As far as I know FFIX and VIII Backgrounds are being worked on as we speak, alltough not by me. :)

I don't have access to the backgrounds atm so I just threw something together from the internet.
I don't know if the scale is correct though so I guessed that the new backkgrounds from the remaster arfe 4x the scale likek Chrono Cross.

I didn't considered asking SE to use my Mod as an official Update. I've never seen them endorse any mods what so ever and FFIX's upscale mod by ZePilot was in it's way remarkeable and so much better than their upscaled backgrounds so I'm not having any hopes. :D

All rooms are upscaled.

ATM. it’s not downloadable via nexus as the file is still flagged for quarantine (I’ve already asked the mod team to please look into it).

I've finally got to try it and out and holy crap, it looks amazing and beautiful, seriously well done man, makes me want to do another play through of this game, it really shows how beautiful this game can be, thank you for your hard work and effort man!

ngl.. the AI in hometown mess up the area quite a bit. yea at first glace you wouldnt see much wrong with it but the more you look at it the more you realize how much it mess up.
