there are a few other things that would benefit from being upscaled, like the audience of Nikki's concert (they're so pixelated it's not even funny lol) or overworld Termina for instance. is that something you might consider doing or would it require too much work?
Yeah the crowd is generally a problem as the original ones were just pulled straight out of PSX time. If you upscale them it really looks awful and sometimes horrific.
The file manager/zip manager are a bit different on linux than on windows. Make sure the files are actually being transfered and there shouldn't be any issue.
If I may make a suggestion, I am up to Home World S.S. Zelbess and there are some signs that still look a little AI-weird in the halls and outside of the ship. "Magical Dreamers" on the deck also looks a little more like "Magical Dreomers".
EDIT: I noticed you replaced the "Vegas" sign on the ship entirely, unfortunately interacting with the sign still calls it "Vegas Casino", so this might've been moot, eheh.
I understand there may be spots you'll update over time, because there's a *lot* of maps...
