A follow-up title that offers those possibilities and more would also be very desirable.
Thanks for reading :D
Rub my face in it - my settlements will always be inferior...
MAYBE, devs could unlock those pieces in a future update?
It's been like that since start of EA. If my brain remembers correctly. It's so you have to keep making things. They did mention many years ago. That repair of tools/weapons/clothing will no be an option.
Two things give me hope to a "degree" of that in this game.
#1 The inclusion of armor specifically to include "crests", this "should" mean that the player is the holder of a crest, which indicates the player may, as some kind of endgame, buy a "landed title" off the king, with all those taxes, etc. This would complete the game in the category of a "Medieval" "Dynasty".
#2 The new map has a palisaded settlement with watch towers and battlements. Unless the dev decides to leave this as an unfair advantage where the player's settlements will never be as "cool" as the dev-built one... we have a hope for completing this semblance of a minor barony. That could include a more grandiose house (Manorial House).
#3 IF we get access to both armor and the palisade/battlement/guard tower settlement construction components - maybe - we will get defense mechanics?
IF the devs can wrap this game up with these additions - I think Bellwright & Etc., will have to concede the stage to this game, in nearly ever way (and IMHO, will finally earn it's title of a "Medieval Dynasty" instead of peasant-simulator).
Only authentic medieval memes in this game
