Game Won't Load

I just bought the game a couple hours ago. It will start to load then nothing ever happens.

What happens exactly? The game is fully installed?

The game is fully installed. All files have been verified. When i click on the icon on my desktop or in steam the first popup shows that its starting then it disappears and it never comes back. I only get to see where it says its starting.

Hi,have you checked ur firewall,after the update my firewall blocked the new map,too.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it is still doing the same thing.

I have the exact same issue with the game. I have it installed, when I try to launch the game, it shows "starting" then "running" for few seconds and stops. Not even a window of the game opens :(

I have also this problem. I think, it is my old pc with windows 8.1 . I have read, the new version is only windows 10 or 11 .

I have windows 11, DirectX 12, updated drivers, firewall is not a problem (tried to turn it off and run the game - Steam is allowed anyway tho), the game data on Steam are verified.
I tried to reinstall the game, restart the PC. Other Steam games work fine.
Just so the informations are here :)
I hope this will be sorted soon, really looking forward to play co-op.

Aquaophis... I have done exactly what you have and im still having the same issue. All my drivers are up to date and its not blocked my firewall. I just tried reinstalling the game again a few minutes ago and it still is having the same issue.

Has there been any update? I'm still having the same issue. I bought the game on December 7th and haven't been able to play it all because of launching issue.

I don't know if me buying all the dlc for this game is causing an issue. I have tried all troubleshooting but it still won't load. I can only get the pop-up when you click on the icon then it disappears. I haven't been able to play 1 min of this game since I bought it. I am getting very frustrated. Id like an update on what I am supposed to do please. I payed almost 50 bucks for the game including the dlcs.


I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game before posting this and nothing has changed.

Just to make sure; can you update the drivers of your graphics card if there's new updates available?
Also make sure there's no more pending windows updates; weirdly enough that has also caused issues in the past for some people.
If that's all ok, and it still doesn't work; could you try if launching the game in DX11 helps?
in your Steam library, right click on Medieval Dynasty in the list, go to "Properties" and in 'general' under the "Launch Options" window add: -dx11

Just checked all drivers and everything is up to date. There are no windows updates either. I also tried what you suggested in the launch options and that didn't change anything. I can click the icon it will pop telling me that its starting the game and then 2-3 seconds later it disappears and the game never loads.
