I wondered if it would be possible to take clothes that can be worn now and make them look feminine (like a dress) when worn by a female player character.
If so its something I'd hope for down the line, they haven't stated anything about that yet, but they did add a lot of stuff not originally planned in the past, so if there is demand from the players (and I guess there is), I'd think it could very well happen.
Ofc right now I guess they are pretty tied up with bugfixing,
There are so many bugs. The correction is more important, so I hope you will do your best.
I would also like to see clothes dyeing, for both male and females. I notice NPCs in the village wearing colorful clothing. Maybe they can add a dye station inside the tailoring building or make it a completely separate profession. It seems like it should be a tailoring thing.
Give an extra slot for stockings, for keeping warm in the cold seasons.
I guess, a player character has way more animations (running/hunting/working ...) then a npc. So it will be much more difficult to have dresses and to avoid clipping. But I with you: I also want dresses for a female player :)
Things that never crossed this guy's mind that now has me wondering what decisions the dev team made.
On a related note, I do hope a future update will bring us dying stations. I know many of us have requested it. Naturally when I saw the clotheslines and wash stations, I was hopeful.
True! I can see that it would more difficult for a more animated player character. At the same time, I would change my clothes to adapt to what I was doing. I wouldn't wear a dress, when riding a horse, hunting or adventuring around. Since I make my own clothing, I would most likely adapted it my taste.
I know this game tries to be realistic. I know most women didn't go off adventuring. But females play the game too. So for game play reasons, that's why we want to play as a female character. For game play reasons, female players naturally want to look feminine. The female hunter clothes is a perfect example. It looks functional and feminine. I notice other female NPCs who wear pants and still look feminine, like the tailor vendor in Piastovia. She wears colorful clothing and pants. You often see her washing clothes, as you walk by. Functional feminine clothing already exist in the game.
Guess she will have the standard NPC-clothing as long as she is a NPC and then it will change to the normal PC clothing (so the male clothing available as real items).
I mean depending on the job female NPCs wear pants on the job too, hunters, smiths etc.
I don't understand why players can't wear those. :(
