Devs to bring back the cauldron/cooking pot And OUR FIRE WOOD- please sign the petition below
Sorry for shouting, but well, how far are you going to push us.
Dear Devs
Most people in medieval times would of had a cooking pot of some description, even peasants.

We the village leaders of both Oxbow and Valley feel, with the removal of our cooking pots/cauldrons, that we a seen as less than peasants. Even the worst Kings in the valley never stooped so low as to remove our cookware. Yet you have done just that. If you continue with this barbarism we the leaders will have no choice, but go on strike or even leave Oxbow villages AND Valley villages and build the biggest bandit army ever.

Edit: and bring back the ability to create firewood without a woodshed.

Please see the signage's below.

I don't know their reasons for taking our cauldron away from our houses. I'd like it back please. I don't like to disturb my villagers every time I need to use the workstations.
Personally, I'd prefer a cauldron on the fire camp. Just for a few basic recipes.
Not really needed in all houses.

I think the fireplace was visually mature before and the current three versions are nice in terms of the idea, but somehow not yet perfect in detail. In addition, the cooking pot was the most urgent reason for me in the early game to say goodbye to the campfire and build my own house - unfortunately this is no longer the case with the change. (You can often find vegetables, which you could use to cook in the early game and thus level up your skill a bit before you even have inhabitants).

That would work, I think. You mean an outside fire, where you have to buy a disposable clay pot (I am trying to give the Devs ideas). They dont want us to cook 'meals' in houses only in kitchens, so I am trying to give compromises. (like a good leader should) ;)

@alive between us are you prepared to leave this all behind,
and join the bandit army?

So Ooakapia, will you also join us and strongly protest this injustice, oh and join our band of bandits? I think two more and we could call ourselves merrymen/merrywoman

I actually think it's good. It makes the kitchen more exciting. Sorry MrBallen, that's why I'm not on your rebellion team ;)

In the old way, it is very relevant once I start bringing in villagers. However, I have the option to not build it when I'm still soloing, or just the two of us. There is really no need for any type of "communal" building at that stage of the game.

For me, the old way works very well for many different play style.
