- More to explore: So spend month of worktime to make more area that adds about 3 hours of gametime to explore. Sounds not really efficient to me.
Thats an argument for a full fledged RPG where you get dungeons and settlements with their own storylines and quests, not so much here.
- More settling spots: Don't think more then a dozen actually make sense. Everybody having their own settlement isn't a thing since the work as a single one ressourcewise anyway.
And if you really want to split it into 4 small settlements, theres plenty of space to put those, since even at 200% building-limit, each would at max have 35 buildings. Not to speak of the fact that you either have to build most of the workshops quadrupple, or constantly remind the other players to make for you whatever needs the workshop in their settlement.
So thats 2 things and I don't really think they are very valid, hardly what I'd call "a lot of"
"Thats an argument for a full fledged RPG where you get dungeons and settlements with their own storylines and quests, not so much here."
No, I know what kind of game this is. I don't expect anything like what you're getting at. There's a lot to do with more room and area to roam around. You're just comparing apples to oranges here.
"More settling spots: Don't think more then a dozen actually make sense. Everybody having their own settlement isn't a thing since the work as a single one ressourcewise anyway."
How doesn't it make sense? How are more options for a settlement a problem? I know everyone having their own settlement isn't a thing. I merely said it'd be cool if it were an option. As far as the resources go, that's another way the bigger map comes into play. More resources! Does it make a bit more sense now? It ties together. You can even have each different one specialize in a field, such as how the Oxbow map has it between a couple villages. One specializes in hunting and woodcutting, another in fishing and farming, and etc. Not every village needs to do EVERYTHING. This is where co-operative play comes in.

35 is not a lot when I build, and I don't like my settlement being within an arrow shot of another village. I always make 2+ of most buildings anyways to up productivity. Sometimes 4 of certain ones is a good thing, like the mine.
See you're only looking at this from one point of view. Hence why this is easily shut down in your mind. There's a lot of potential here. Will the devs actually make these changes? Probably not but it's nice to dream.
"So thats 2 things and I don't really think they are very valid, hardly what I'd call "a lot of""
That's your opinion. Mine is that they're very valid. You play how you want and I'll play how I want.
"Kinda still waiting to hear what they are."
Next time you want to discuss something, don't come at people like this. You sound pretty immature. I never saw you ask what my idea of possibilities were.
And no with the roaming around its not more then a couple of hours of gametime. Thats not out of thin air, that is from what time it cost me to explore the existing map.
No, if anything it makes less sense now. You are arguing for a bigger map with a another game.
"More Ressources" is not an actual argument for this game. The ressources NPCs produce come from thin air not the map, and even four players wont be able to harvest every ressource on the existing map before they respawn.
*sigh* actually reading and understanding before you start to rant would be nice.
Building limit: 70, max-optional is 200% so 140, divided by 4 (the max amount of CoOp-Players): 35, so that is what each of the four players in their theoretical divided villages would be limited to.
Otherwhise you are AGAIN arguing with a game that doesn't exist.
Pretty sure it is the question I actually OPENED with.
Also refraining from insults would be welcome.

A lot. If you can't see it after that then I'm done trying to explain it to you. That's just based off your own experience and style.

You're not making any sense. What 'another game'? More resources is an actual argument since at one point I've cleared out all the caves/mines and still needed more resources. Your argument is purely based on your own experience and style. No, you can't harvest every resource on the map 100%, but you severely underestimate how much four people can do if they try. Have you even played with other people before?

You're the one who needs to read. If I was 1 of 4 people, and had a 35 building limit for myself, it would not be enough. That was my point. 35 buildings are not enough. That's it. If I want multiple of certain buildings, then 35 would never be enough. I don't understand how that confuses you.
My ideas are not in the game, so why are you taking it as I think they are? "a game that doesn't exist' lol and I was merely setting out options the devs could implement. You really need to learn how game discussions work.
"Pretty sure it is the question I actually OPENED with."
That's fair. I didn't think you wanted in depth explanations is all.
Go elsewhere if you're just wanting to argue with someone. It's clear you don't understand. You're not even making sense most of the time and I have to infer A LOT with your poor spelling and grammar.
There is an unspecified "lot" to be done with a bigger map, if a ton of never mentioned and equally unspecified "lot" of things be put into the game that aren't in it at the moment.
My question was actually what you would do with a bigger map in the game we actually HAVE.
But since that seems to upset you so much that you have to revert to rants and insults, as I said, lets leave it at that.
btw. your reply-ranting would be way easier to digest if you actually learned to use the quote-function.
I think he has some good points.
For me, the map just feels small and cramped. Would love more space on the map so i dont feel like im up in npc towns ect. would also be nice with more flat spots to build big (like 100 or so buldings)
when it comes to the mines i would like more mainly bc our mine is empty all the time and need more resources to expand more and build more. kind of boring just waiting around for the npc to get resources when i should have had them a week ago (in game time)
Then we have the wandering around, would be nice with bigger map so i could wander more around when i have to wait for npc or just for people who like to walk/hunt/fighting bandits around the map more. these are just some pointers for you
so on and so on
if you cant see more potential then this and think the game is ok with this little map, be for real stop your bs
And some people think covid is transmitted via mobile phones.
i see you are one of these persons
