Oh yeah. I've seen people post who try to play without killing anything or consuming any animal-produced products.

The problem with this, and with the entire vegan philosophy, is that, if they strictly adhered to it, they'd likely starve to death. Most food plants are pollinated by bees, and that should be a no-no to vegans.

I was angrily shouted down when I worked at a vegan campground and mentioned this. lol

Edit: after thinking about this, it may have been Green Hell where I saw people trying to play the game as vegan.

Some people wasn't happy with the himmeli in the game. Some wouldn't be happy if the church would be in the game.

Why waste the effort? Why can't the game stay religious neutral?

Because if a church was an optional building then both sides can be happy.

Your pollinating bee argument is not nearly as good as you think it is. Doesn't even make sense, since plants are not a product of bees. Just because they help pollinate really has nothing to do with veganism. Also there is the main point bees aren't animals, they are insects. And even if a vegan was strict enough to not eat bug products, that would just mean they wouldn't eat the honey of the bees.

Hemmili is an option, but still there are people unhappy about it. You want the Devs to waste the time on an option that may not make all people happy?

The devs or for that matter everyone on earth and in the heavens wont make everyone happy. We all have beliefs and personal needs. In the old days, not that long ago folks realized that their personal needs were their own responsibility to deal with. Now, it seems its everyone elses responsibility to turn themselves inside out even for strangers on the internet playing a video game. Fun times. And yes everyone is a bigot and everyone is prejudiced and we are all flawed.

How interesting science is. Have you ever done a search for the scientific classification of insects. I did and guess what I found in multiple places (I don't count Wiki which is sometimes not accurate). Insects are classified in the family of Animalia which is the animal kingdom. I just wanted to bring that to light.
