Money glitch

I don't know what causes it but sometimes the amount of money gets reset to around ~30 coins. It happened to me twice, once I had 40k coins and they dissapeared. I wasn't bothered too much by this and quickly gained it back. Second time was way more annoying. I am aiming to get the achievement for gathering 1000000 coins. I was short by 400k and all of a sudden my money was gone. I was left with few coins. I believe that it's is somehow connected with looting bodies of a fallen bandit. I think that the game maybe can't tell which inventory is which? I have no idea. Can you look this up and possibly fix that annoying bug?

Did you maybe accidentally transfer your stuff to the bandit instead of the other way around?
Next time you loot a corpse, pay attention to what you are doing and where your money is going. If your money still disappears, and is not on the bandit and you didn't drop it on the ground either (you can check with inspector mode - default alt), do let us know with a bit more info on what exactly happened.

Nope. I am pressing "C" (default) in order to loot bandits. If I accidentally switched inventories I would have transfered all my stuff to their corpses which I would immidiately notice

There might be a weight limit on corpses/storages, money will transfer because it does not have any weight. Double check after looting instead of hitting the esc button.
