Badger! Badger! Badger! - Not recognizing advancement after BETA Opt-In

I was on the Badger quest from the in-town board. I'm in the spring season. I had killed 2 badgers prior. I opted into the BETA and now i'm in days 5/6 of spring and have killed two additional badgers but the quest is not recognizing those kills.

I don't know where the original quote came from with "badges", but there is a quote from ... Troop Beverly Hills (Shelly Long) "We don't need no stinking patches."

Not sure if I should append this here and change the title to Post-Beta switch quest drama or post this in a separate thread.

I was also on the multi-season quest Don't Be Dull, Be Wetter. I went to the person to sharpen the knife and he asks for payment. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the quest journal advanced and it still says delivery the knife... which I guess I do still need to do once I have the coin to pay for it, but it doesn't tell me anywhere how much coin the guy is looking for... not sure if this is really a glitch or just missing information in the quest as designed.

P.S. I ran all the way to this other village to advance the quest not knowing that he's ask for payment and not having the coin will have to run back home and then run back again... not a fun quest.

Okay, now I think it's an issue affecting any quest in your queue when you switch to BETA branch.... I was also on Mug Muggers, Mug Hunt and I've completed all the side quests and now the main quest still says 0/5.

Can you try if saving and reloading still says 0/5? (save under a different name so you have a backup, just in case)

If it's on 2.0.0.3 and involves killing animals, it's a known issue; otherwise it's something completely different and i'll need a bit more info from you.

Also, new quest acquired after switch to 2.0.0.3 Wolves Among Us will not register wolf kills. I know you mentioned that animal kill quests are a known issue on that branch, but wanted to add that this is a new quest after switch and not pre-existing.

The devs can't replicate this and the quest works fine for them. Could you upload your save so they can have a look?

You can find your savegames in %AppData%\..\Local\Medieval_Dynasty\Saved\SaveGames.
To upload it, just use a site like wetransfer.com to create a link for you that you can paste here (no need to make an account on wetransfer, just click the 'i just want to send files' link.)

(upload both the x.sav and x_label.sav file)

I started working on Badger! Badger! Badger! today and am currently on kill 5 of 7. This has been the most frustrating quest so far because there just aren't many badgers around and they won't stop running to give you a good shot at them. I admit I'm not the best hunter around but I spent HOURS chasing those dang things!

I'm going to stop working on this now because I would hate to finally get the last 2 badgers and find out the quest doesn't complete. Hopefully I see a bug fix get mentioned before the end of my season.
