keep it on topic.
2 this is a single player game and I should be free to play it how I like it and to force otherwise is wrong.
We would also ask you to please let us know if you used any of the above when reporting bugs or technical issues. We will still try our best to help you, but it really helps to know beforehand.
And finally, please do not discuss these topics in detail on Steam, as it is against the terms of service. While I can look away, The Steam bots and mods will not and they can be quite strict.
it is not against the steam rules to cheat, at all. Nor is it against steams terms of service to discuss cheating.
-> it is only against the steam rules to cheat in MMO's & certain RANKED multiplayer games
non of these classifications fit here,
**it states clearly in the VAC ban reasons "against other players"
-this automaticly excludes all single player games
**it than proceeds with giving a list of games where VAC bans apply for.. logically this game aint in that list.
Most of these type of single player games have build in console commands, or even build in cheatcodes that one can enter.
-> it is a flaw this game is not designed with those options from the ground.. and totally legal to discuss how to add this missing feature.
from other forums.. I see you devs don't like people cheating.. removing even the barebone console options once excisting for this game on purpose, as well as actively adding anti-cheat features. : I suggest you stop being a spoilsport. let people play how THEY want.
I know of at least one editor that used to be out there, that won't work anymore, because the structure of the save files has changed a lot with recent updates and a lot of the values that used to exist, are not there anymore for you to edit.
"Blank" old savegames edited like that are still out there, and you can find them on nexus mods, but keep in mind that they tend to cause problems and weird bugs with the current version of the game.
I personally wouldn't risk it if you plan to get attached to your playthrough.
The safest option would be if you manage to get a savegame from someone that played through the game normally with Racimir, and then when switched to the 18 year old heir, broke down all the structures again and kicked all villagers out.
That way you have some sort of 'fresh' slate to play as a sandbox with all quests already done, all blueprints unlocked and a lot of material and gold to 'start' with.
I'm planning to make a savegame like that, but that will take a lot of time since i play on 30 day seasons and my heir is only a toddler atm, so you shouldn't wait for it. :-)
Make sure you also check out the ingame customizations (can also be changed in existing games) in regards to have unlimited health and carry weight ant the likes. They might help you already to tailor the game more to your liking.
Have a wounderful weekend.
