Crest unlock

I'm steadily making my way through these but I seem to be having an issue with the crest with a windmill on it. It requires you to craft 750 flour in the Mill in one standing, which I've done a couple of times now, creating more than the 750 required, and I've tried different seed grains, but it isn't unlocking. Anyone got any tips or ideas as to what the issue is. I've noticed also one or two that I've unlocked didn't immediately notify me. For instance, the one where you have to sell 50 bowls of scrambled eggs in one transaction. I did that one and waited for the notification but none came, but it is unlocked when I check the Crest menu.
I am on the public test branch version also, whether that has anything to do with it I don't know.
Anyway, I'd be grateful of any insight.

what u mean with crest ? , did u try to use the normal Mill in the barn instead ?

The Crest Signs that come with naming the village and designating yourself a crest, like on a Coat of Arms. There's a multitude of them which you have to complete tasks to unlock. I tried both the Mill and the Barn, although I reckon the clues in the name "craft 750 flour in the MILL," but yeah I checked the barn too anyway just in case. So far I've unlocked everything I've attempted to unlock, even the tricky and somewhat funny ones, like "Knock yourself unconscious whilst riding a Donkey," and "win a fistfight with a Badger whilst drunk." It's making me laugh out loud doing some of them though

Got feedback for you. You need to create exactly the required amount: 750 flour. If you do less or more, it will not unlock.

Thanks Morri, that had crossed my mind and I did try to craft the exact amount using a calculator to calculate how many to craft to get the exact number but I think I used the wrong equation, maths isn't my strong point lol so I'll have another look at it.

For anyone else who isn't strong at maths and is looking to unlock this particular crest, you need to craft 50 wheat grain to produce the 750 flour required

Sorry to be a bother Morri, but could you shed some light on another crest I'm having trouble with. It states that to unlock this one you need to construct a fence of at least 20 lengths and I've done that to the exact number and also lengths of fence with more than 20, but it aint unlocking. The only thing I haven't tried is building a fence of 20 separate panels, but surely that can't be the answer ? or is it lol Some of these quests Could do with a bit more of a description for us thickos
Appreciate any help, I'm not far of unlocking the whole set well apart from some of the more obscure ones.

This one says "at least", so it can be longer. I just tried and had no problem with it. I just 'painted' a low stick fence (must be in one go!) over a long length, that turned out to be 23 sections. And then when I hammered the 20th section in, the crest unlocked.
What are you doing differently?

Hmmm, apart from adjusting the angle when I place a length down so that it follows a course that fits in with the perimeter fence I was making. I'll try just stretching out one long line and see if that works. Back in a jiffy.

Told ya I was a thicko lmfao Just stretched out a length, no angles and unlocked it. Good grief, why didn't I just do that well I don't like to waste time and materials so I thought I could get it whilst creating/upgrading the village, but there aren't many straight lines in this here neck of the woods

Oh, and maybe someone could also help me with the crest dealing with "kill 4 raiders in 4 different ways in 2 minutes", or smth like this? I tried it several times, killing with bow, crossbow, battle axe, hammer, spear -- in different combinations. Still no luck.

I did unlock it after a few attempts but can't remember what particular weapons I used, I think I used the sword, battle axe, one of the clubs and an iron axe. I reckon the trick to unlocking it was speed, it says 2 minutes but I did it in more like 1 minute. Take a potion of strength and stamina and just get stuck in. May be an obvious thing to say, but save progress just beforehand so you can try again quickly if you don't succeed. Morri may have a better insight on this though.

Not sure about this one; but are you using maybe poisoned bolts/arrows? It could be that if they die by poisoning ticking damage, or bleeding damage, that it doesn't count.
Maybe to be sure only use melee weapons?

At least one of range weapons was poisoned, yes, but I thought that it's good -- another way of killing. Thanks for the advices, will try to use melee only and do it as quick as possible.

For those who will also search for this problem solution later :)

I unlocked it with a spear, axe, battle axe and a hammer. So yes, seems that this achievement does not count ranged weapons like bow or crossbow.

Nice work, display the crest proudly, it's my chosen one too. And I'm glad you posted up your findings for future reference, it'll probably help someone down the line
